Metal Coil Steel Slitting

Precision coil steel slitting, also known as rolled steel slitting, is a process that involves feeding large metal coils lengthwise through a slitter and cutting them into smaller coils. Each of the finished widths is referred to as a strand and it is recoiled to generate a thin slit coil with a finished width.

We at SSSPL make the adjustments to the cutters for our steel slitting machines and deliver finished rolled steel in a variety of widths based on the needs of our customer.
